Ramblings from the Pretentious Photographer

This is my baby, my Sony Alpha 300. It’s considered a semi-professional grade camera, but I don’t give a fuck. You can make anything work if you know how to use it, not like people realize that anymore. I was reluctant to use a Sony, but found it’s not too different from using a Minolta. Fuck Nikon. Go Sony or Canon or go home.
Shooting style: Fast shutter speeds, low ISO settings, natural lighting, auto-focus only when needed, and slim to none Photoshop. My opinions on Photoshop…. We’ll get into that later.
Actually, I have a LOT of opinions on photography and photographers today… Shocking.
I still LOVE film cameras. Film photography NEEDS to stay around, it will never be obsolete.
I do have a Minolta Maxxum 7xi, but waiting to get a Canon AE-1. Maybe one day.
If anyone would like to donate a low-end DSLR camera so I can get a 665nm IR conversion done, it would be greatly appreciated.
